We are an internet based used car sales specialist located in the village of Acton, just outside of Sudbury, Suffolk.

We have over 30 years solid motor trade experience. Honesty, integrity and good quality vehicles at reasonable prices are the guidelines of our business. When you come to view one of our cars, you will look at it in a pressure free environment, and make your mind up in your own time. After you have purchased a car from us, we do not turn our back on you, we are still here to help. These simple standards are why we have so many repeat customers and recommendations to friends and family.

We specialise in hand picked quality used cars, SUV's and 4x4's. All of our retail vehicles are fully valeted, thoroughly checked over and prepared to a very high standard and our cars are provenance checked for your peace of mind.

We are authorised and regulated by the FCA and can offer finance packages on a selected range of cars (subject to status).

Stour Valley Cars Limited are acting as a credit broker and not a lender. We will introduce you to a limited number of lenders. We may receive a payment from the lender for arranging the finance for you.

We are open Monday to Saturday by appointment. Please contact us before coming to view a car to check the vehicle you are interested in is still available.

Part exchange is possible and we accept full payment by bank transfer and debit card but a maximum of £500 by credit card.

Complaints Procedure

Complaints Handling Procedure
It is the aim of Stour Valley Cars Ltd to provide a very high standard of service to every customer. It is important to us that all complaints are resolved as quickly as possible and to the complete satisfaction of our customers.
This procedure explains how we will deal with any complaints. It also tells you what you can do if you think your complaint has not been resolved to your satisfaction.
If you have a complaint:
If you have a complaint about any aspect of our service, then we would like to hear from you. We will try to resolve your complaint promptly; however, sometimes, this may not be possible. In this event, we will keep you informed as below:
Within 10 days
We will acknowledge receipt of your complaint and provide you with an update and contact details if no resolution has been reached at this stage.
Within 28 days
We will endeavour to resolve the complaint with a full response provided, however, if we are unable to do so at this stage, we will provide you with an update and relevant information about the investigation.
Within 8 weeks
We will provide a final written response and information on services you can access should you be dissatisfied with the resolution (detailed below).

About Stour Valley Cars Ltd Services
Stour Valley Cars Limited offer products and services from a range of product providers with whom we have commercial agreements in place. We will receive financial remuneration for business introductions which may be variable or pre-set dependent on the product and the volume that we place with that organisation. The amounts that we receive may vary.
In respect of insurance products, we receive commission as a proportion of the premium paid from our insurance provider if you decide to enter into an agreement with them.

Stour Valley Cars Limited offers products and services from a range of Finance Companies and Product Providers with whom we have commercial agreements in place. We are a commission and/or fee-based organisation which means that we receive commission and fee payments for business introductions and providing our services. We will receive financial remuneration which may be variable or pre-set dependent on the product and the volume that we place with that organisation.
Which service will we provide for you?
Our Finance Services:
For the provision of finance, Stour Valley Cars Limited is authorised and regulated by the Financial Conduct Authority, firm reference number 715631 and is permitted to advise on and arrange consumer credit contracts. As FCA-regulated Advisors, we can introduce you to a limited number of lenders and leasing companies, who may be able to help you finance your vehicle purchase or provide vehicle leasing solutions. This group of lenders and leasing companies provides us with a range of products which may be suitable for your vehicle purchase or leasing requirements. We will explain the key features of those products to you and make a recommendation based on affordability which is suitable for your demands and needs at the time it is made. We are not Independent Financial Advisers and so are unable to provide you with independent financial advice. There are also other sources of finance which you may wish to investigate. We may receive a commission payment (s) or other benefits from finance providers should you decide to enter into a finance agreement with them via us.
Our Insurance Services:
At present we do not offer any insurance products.

We at Stour Valley Cars Ltd we are committed to giving you excellent customer service and treating you fairly. We are committed to providing high standards of customer service and advice.
Treating Customers Fairly (TCF) is one of the key principles set by the Financial Conduct Authority to ensure fair treatment of customers, by improving standards across the financial industry.
As a part of this, Stour Valley Cars Ltd follows the relevant aspects of the Financial Conduct Authority's six guiding principles on how to engage with our customers. These are known as the 'Treating Customers Fairly' principles and govern how we communicate with customers, the level of service we provide and the fairness of our products and procedures.
